Julie-Marie is both a registered domestic relations mediator and a litigator, concentrating her practice in the areas of family law (divorce, paternity, custody, etc...) and estate planning and administration. She currently also serves as legal counsel for the Adams County Council. With over 24 years of legal experience, whether acting as an advocate or a mediator, Julie-Marie understands firsthand the diverse challenges of domestic, probate, and municipal law and is adept at navigating the complexities of litigation to help clients find practical solutions to meet their needs and secure critical legal protections.
A native of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Julie-Marie is a graduate of Purdue University and Indiana University School of Law. She is a member of the Adams County, Allen County and Indiana State Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all Indiana Courts to include the Indiana Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for Northern and Southern Indiana. She and her husband, Jeremy, have been married since 1998 and have two (2) sons. Julie-Marie and her family are active members of Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur, Indiana.
